Check-in Time: All of our properties have a 4pm check-in time. We do our best to allow early check-ins, but it depends on the cleaning schedule.Check-out Time: All of our properties have either a 10am or 11am check-out time (please see the specific listing). We generally cannot offer late check-outs.

All of our properties are outfitted with linens, bath towels, and beach towels. Our kitchens are well-stocked with pots, pans, dishes, toasters, and cooking utensils. The kitchens are generally stocked with everything needed to prepare most meals, but you may want to bring any specialty items that you require (e.g., air fryer, waffle maker, etc.).We provide a starter supply of housekeeping supplies such as paper towels, toilet paper, hand soap, dish soap, basic toiletries, K-Cups, and trash bags. Any additional housekeeping supplies needed during your stay are your responsibility.

Dogs under 50 pounds are allowed with prior approval at most properties (please see specific listing). Please note that we have a $250 pet fee that covers up to two dogs. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate cats or any other type of animals.

All of our rentals are equipped with one Pack ‘n Play crib.

All of our properties have free parking. The number of parking spots is detailed in the specific listing. Please note that parking is limited at many beach rentals on the island and we are generally unable to provide additional parking spaces.

We provide beach towels but do not supply beach chairs—though previous guests may leave some behind. For rentals, Riptide Watersports and The Beach Store offer chairs, bikes, and other beach gear. Plus, you can save 10% on rentals at Riptide Watersports’ website with the code BAREFOOT.

We do not allow weddings or other types of events at this time.

The minimum age to book is 25 years old and someone over 25 must be staying at the property. We occasionally make exceptions based on the situation with prior approval (e.g., a younger married couple). We will not make exceptions for college groups, spring breakers, etc.

50% of the total reservation amount is due at booking and the remaining 50% is automatically charged 30 days prior to check-in. If the reservation is made within 30 days of the check-in date then the full amount will be due at booking.

We do not refund rents or deposits lost due to canceled or shortened stays because of weather. We do not allow cancellations, refunds, or rescheduling due to an impending storm or hurricane, hurricane watch or warning. We do not allow cancellations, refunds, or rescheduling due to cancelled flights, closed travel routes, or travel delays and interruptions. Early departures due to inclement weather do not warrant refund of rent or deposit.In the event of a Mandatory Hurricane Evacuation directly impacting the location of the property you have rented by a local or government authority, we will issue a monetary in-house credit for the days of your stay which fall under the Mandatory Hurricane Evacuation. The credit is valid for 6 months from issuance and may be applied toward any available date at any of our properties. If the cost of the new stay exceeds the credit amount, the guest is responsible for any additional amount due. The credit will not be given in the form of a refund.We strongly suggest purchasing travel insurance for stays during the hurricane season (June – November).We work with any travel insurance provider of your choice; however, for convenience, we have partnered with RentalGuardian to offer an easy and reliable option.
